The Netherlands has the world's best pension system, according to the Mercer CFA Institute Global Pension Index 2023 which ranked the systems on adequacy, sustainability and integrity. The Netherlands is followed by Iceland, Denmark, Israel and Australia. Argentina has the worst pension system, the index showed. India was ranked 45th on the index of 47 countries.
