US has 75.8 million dogs, according to WorldAtlas. Brazil comes second at 35.7 million dogs. China has 27.4 million dogs, including both strays and pets. India has 15.3 million stray dogs. Russia has about 15 million dogs, followed by Japan and Philippines, which have 12 million and 11.6 million dogs respectively. Argentina, France and Romania also feature in the list.
