Vanuatu has the shortest working hours in the world with employees working 24.7 hours per week on average, according to the ILO. It is followed by Kiribati (27.3), Micronesia (30.4), Rwanda (30.4), Somalia (31.4), Netherlands (31.6), Iraq (31.7), Wallis and Futuna Islands (31.8), Ethiopia (31.9), and Canada (32.1). Employees in Australia and New Zealand work 32.3 and 33 hours/week, respectively.
