The United States has the most powerful military globally, followed by Russia and China in second and third place, respectively, as per Global Firepower's Military Strength Rankings for 2024. India holds the fourth position and South Korea has been ranked fifth. The other countries in the top 10 are United Kingdom, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan and Italy.
