The United Nations Development Programme has released Human Development Index (HDI) in 2023/24 report that ranks countries on the basis of life expectancy, education and per capita income indicators. The country with worst HDI is Somalia ranked 193, followed by South Sudan, Central African Republic, Niger, Chad, Mali, Burundi, Yemen, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Mozambique and Afghanistan.
