As many as 13 European Union (EU) countries, Switzerland and Iceland have approved Serum Institute of India-manufactured Covishield COVID-19 vaccine for travellers so far. Belgium became the recent EU country to approve the vaccine. Other EU countries to have given approval are Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
