National capital Delhi is among the least safe cities for women, the National Annual Report and Index on Women's Safety (NARI) 2025, said. Faridabad, Ranchi, Kolkata, Patna, Srinagar and Jaipur were the cities that ranked lowest on the index. Mumbai, Kohima, Gangtok, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Aizawl and Itanagar are among safest cities, as per survey of 12,770 women across 31 cities.
