Gujarat's Surat had the cleanest air in India on Sunday with an AQI of 37, data released by the Central Pollution Control Board showed. Other cities with cleanest air were Rajamahendravaram (38), Bathinda (39), Varanasi (40), Ariyalur (41), Puducherry (41), Vijayapura (42), and Ooty (42). Meanwhile, Hajipur recorded the worst AQI at 257, followed by Barbil (250) and Durgapur (242).
