Which Indian states have banned plastic?

Maharashtra has become the 18th state to enforce a complete ban on the sale, use and manufacture of plastic bags. Other states which have imposed a complete ban include Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, among others. Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Odisha and West Bengal have partial bans on plastic use, typically around sites of religious importance or during pilgrimage season.
