India in Pixels by Ashris has shared Indian map showing state-wise coal reserves in India as of 2024 based on NITI Aayog's data. Odisha, with 99.2 billion tonnes, has the largest amount of coal reserves in India. This is followed by Jharkhand (91.8 billion tonnes), Chhattisgarh (82.7 billion tonnes), West Bengal (34 billion tonnes) and MP (32.8 billion tonnes).
