Odisha, with 99.2 billion tonnes, has the largest amount of coal reserves in India. This is followed by Jharkhand (91.8 billion tonnes), Chhattisgarh (82.7 billion tonnes), West Bengal (34 billion tonnes) and MP (32.8 billion tonnes).
