Meta-owned WhatsApp has shut support for some older iPhone models, including iPhone 5s, from Sunday (June 1). The app won't work on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus either, as these devices are limited to iOS versions below 15.1, and WhatsApp now requires version 15.1 or above to run. Android devices using 5.0 or earlier will also lose WhatsApp support.
