Strong tremors were felt in northern India as a 6.5-magnitude quake hit Afghanistan on Tuesday. Other earthquakes that were felt in India this month include, 4.8-magnitude earthquake (March 12), with an epicentre 76 km from Wangjing, Manipur, a 4.0-magnitude earthquake (March 8) that hit Gilgit-Baltistan and 4.8-magnitude earthquake (March 7), that hit Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
