The partial internet blackout, caused by an outage of Cloudflare services, hit multiple major websites and internet services, including X (formerly Twitter), OpenAI and its chatbot ChatGPT and Spotify. Additionally, Canva, Perplexity, Gemini, Grindr, LetterboxD, Truth Social, Indeed and even Zoom were hit by the blackout. Notably, Downdetector.com, which tracks downed websites, was itself down.
