Sudan ranked last on the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap index of 146 countries, while Pakistan ranked second-last after slipping three places. They were followed by Chad, Iran, Guinea, Mali and others. India ranked 129th after slipping two places, Saudi Arabia 126th, Japan 118th, and China 106th. Iceland ranked first for the 15th year in a row.
