India’s white-collar job market's hiring activity rose 13% year-on-year in December, a report said. Among the non-IT sectors, insurance sector hired the most, posting 34% growth in December. Hospitality and travel followed closely, recording 29% growth. The hiring in sectors like BPO/ITES (24%), real estate (21%) and oil & gas (18%) also grew. Notably, not all sectors shared growing momentum.
