Which states have the largest tiger population in India?

Madhya Pradesh has the largest tiger population of 785 in the country, according to data shared by the government on International Tiger Day on Saturday. It is followed by Karnataka, which has 563 tigers, Uttarakhand (560) and Maharashtra (444). The number of tigers has significantly grown in MP as it had 526 tigers in 2018.
