India's unemployment rate rose to a three-month-high of 7.80% in March, as per CMIE. Haryana had the highest unemployment rate of 26.8% among Indian states in the month of March. It was followed by Rajasthan (26.4%), Jammu & Kashmir (23.1%), Sikkim (20.7%) and Bihar (17.6%). Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand had the joint-lowest unemployment rate (0.8%).
