Sensex surpassed 70,000 mark for the first time on Monday. It took the index 529 sessions to grow by 10,000 points since hitting 60,000 milestone on September 24, 2021. ITC, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra were top contributors to Sensex during this period, NDTV Profit said. Among sectors, power, automobile, construction and healthcare were biggest contributors.
