Tata Motors was the top gainer among Nifty 50 stocks in 2023, recording over 100% gain. Other notable gainers included Bajaj Auto, NTPC, Larsen & Toubro, and Coal India. The top laggards were Adani Enterprises and UPL, ending 2023 with 26.4% and 17.8% losses respectively. Among sectors, Nifty Realty topped with 81% surge, followed by Nifty Auto and Nifty Pharma.
