The white Toyota Fortuner (PB 20C 7100) was traced to a man named Varinder Singh from Kapurthala, who revealed he had sold it two years ago to Amritpal Dhillon. This critical lead helped police identify and locate Dhillon, who was then apprehended in his native village of Dasupur, Kartarpur which killed Fauja Singh.
