Choosing between fixed and floating home loans depends on a borrower's financial stability, risk tolerance and interest rate expectations. Fixed-rate loans keep interest rates and EMIs constant for a specified period, making it easier to plan expenses. Floating-rate loans don't remain constant, as the interest rate is linked to the lender's benchmark and can change upon revision of lending rates.
