Chevron is the only US oil company currently operating in Venezuela, which was attacked by the US recently. Meanwhile, ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips, whose assets were seized in Venezuela in 2007, are seeking to recover billions in compensation. Valero, Phillips 66 and Paulsboro Refining (PBF) are among other US buyers of Venezuelan oil.
