India was home to 11 of the 15 most polluted cities in Central and South Asia in 2021, with the remaining four cities being from Pakistan, as per World Air Quality Report. Bhiwadi was the most polluted city in India, followed by Ghaziabad, Delhi and Jaunpur. Faisalabad was the most polluted city in Pakistan, followed by Bahawalpur, Peshawar and Lahore.
