Three words - 'goblin mode', '#IStandWith' and 'metaverse' have been selected by Oxford University Press for its 'Word of the Year 2022'. It has been announced that the Oxford word of the year is to be decided by the public for the first time. They were chosen by a team of lexicographers from Oxford University Press.
