A white-coloured flying object was spotted over Hyderabad on Wednesday, with residents sharing pictures and videos of it. Residents speculated about the identity of the object. As per Planetary Society of India Director N Raghunandan, it was a research helium balloon. It was released by National Balloon Facility. He added the research balloon carried nearly 1,000 kg of scientific instruments.
