The WHO has approved a Covid-19 vaccine made by Sinovac Biotech for emergency use listing, the second Chinese-produced shot to get its approval. It has recommended its use for people aged 18 and older in a two-dose schedule with a gap of two to four weeks between shots. Sinopharm vaccine was the first Chinese Covid-19 vaccine to get WHO approval.
