India batter Smriti Mandhana is the most expensive player of the first-ever Women's Premier League (WPL) auction. She was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹3.4 crore. She is followed by Australia all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner and England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt, who were bought by Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians, respectively for ₹3.2 crore each.
