A report by Association for Democratic Reforms said BJP MLA Parag Sha, from Ghatkopar East in Maharashtra, is the richest MLA in India with his net worth being approximately ₹3,383 crore. Meanwhile, Congress leader and Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar comes second with assets worth ₹1,413 crore. In third place is Independent Karnataka MLA K.H Puttaswamy Gowda with ₹1,267 crore.
