At 19 years, 6 months, 18 days, Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli became the youngest pole sitter in Formula One history on Saturday in China. He is followed by Sebastian Vettel (21 years, 2 months, 11 days; Italy 2008), Charles Leclerc (21 years, 5 months, 15 days; Bahrain 2019) and Fernando Alonso (21 years, 7 months, 23 days; Malaysia 2003).
