Under PM Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0, eligible beneficiaries include urban economically weaker section, low income and middle income group families earning up to ₹9 lakh annually. A beneficiary family comprises a husband, wife and unmarried children. Applicants must not own a pucca house anywhere in India or have previously availed housing assistance under any Central or state government housing scheme.
