WHO chief praises India’s healthcare progress in meeting

WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised India's health gains in his meeting with Health Minister JP Nadda in Dili. He highlighted gains in maternal and child health, primary care, disease screening and TB control. Tedros lauded Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and ASHA workers for expanding access and supporting people nationwide through better care for all communities.
