Ex-American swimmer Trischa Zorn has won the most number of medals in Paralympics history. She won 55 medals, including 41 gold medals, over seven Paralympic Games from 1980 to 2004. Former Swiss wheelchair athlete Heinz Frei follows Trischa with 35 medals, including 15 gold medals. Former Israeli athlete Zipora Rubin-Rosenbaum is third on the list with 31 medals.
