Pakistan captain Babar Azam ended Team India captain Virat Kohli's 1,258-day streak of remaining the world number one ODI batsman. Kohli's streak is the third-longest. Former West Indies captain Viv Richards holds the record for spending most consecutive days (1,748) as number one ODI batsman, followed by ex-Australia batsman Michael Bevan (1,259 days).
