Abbosbek Fayzullaev, who created history by becoming the first Uzbek player to score a goal at the FIFA World Cup, is a 22-year-old attacking midfielder. Born in Uzbekistan's Sirdaryo Region, he made his Under-23 debut against Bangladesh in October 2021. Fayzullaev, who currently plays for Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir, made his senior debut for Uzbekistan in June 2023 at 19.
