Indian-origin Ajay Banga will take over as World Bank's President on June 2. The 63-year-old Pune native studied economics at St Stephen's College, Delhi University and completed his further education at IIM Ahmedabad. He worked for companies like PepsiCo, Citigroup and joined General Atlantic after spending 12 years at Mastercard, including more than a decade as Mastercard's President and CEO.
