India's Women's World Cup-winning head coach Amol Muzmudar was born in Mumbai on November 11, 1974. He is a former cricketer, who represented Mumbai, Andhra and Assam in domestic cricket. He scored 11,167 runs in 171 first-class matches, however, he was never selected to represent India. He was appointed India Women's head coach in October 2023.
