Anil Kochhar is an Indian-origin philanthropist who has pledged to pay off all final-year student loans for the 2026 graduating class at North Carolina State University's Wilson College of Textiles. He attributed his generosity to his father, Prakash Chand Kochhar, and made mulitple donations to the university. He also provides awards every five years and supports recruitment for students.
