Anil Menon, Indian-origin astronaut who will be heading to ISS for 8-month stay in 2026, was born and raised in US' Minneapolis. He is an emergency medicine physician, mechanical engineer, and colonel in the United States Space Force. He holds degrees in neurobiology, mechanical engineering and medicine. His wife Anna is Lead Space Operations Engineer at SpaceX.
