India shot-putter Bhagyashri Jadhav led Indian contingent alongside Sumit Antil in opening ceremony of Paris Paralympics. Bhagyashri won a silver medal in the shot put F34 category at the 2022 Asian Para Games and finished seventh at the Tokyo Paralympics. Bhagyashri, whose career in sports started in 2017, has won medals in Feja World Cup and World Para Athletics Games.
