Kanishka Narayan has been appointed UK's first AI Minister and will attend Cabinet. The Labour MP for the Vale of Glamorgan was born in Bihar's Muzaffarpur and moved to Cardiff with his family when he was 12-year-old. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at Department for Science, Innovation and Technology in 2025.
