Surat-based diamond trader Govind Dholakia, nominated for Rajya Sabha by BJP, runs Shree Ramkrishna (SRK) Exports Private Limited, which has annual revenues of around $1.8 billion. Dholakia, who is from a farmer family, is also known for his philanthropic activities. He donated ₹11 crore for Ram temple and is also involved in building Hanuman temples in 311 villages.
