American department store company Kohl's fired CEO Ashley Buchanan over a conflict of interest in a multimillion-dollar deal involving his romantic partner Chandra Holt. Chandra met Ashley several years ago when they were both working at Walmart, WSJ reported. Chandra held leadership roles at Walmart, Conn's, and Bed Bath & Beyond before starting her coffee business, Incredibrew.
