Revanth Reddy, who is being seen as one of the contenders for the Telangana CM post, joined Congress from Telugu Desam Party in 2017. The 54-year-old was appointed as Telangana Congress chief in 2021 and currently serves as MP from Malkajgiri. Notably, he was an ABVP member in his student days. He was fielded against KCR from the Kamareddy seat.
