Indian-origin venture capitalist Deedy Das was promoted by Anthropic-backer Menlo Partners to become a partner. Das, often called Silicon Valley's "AI startup whisperer", was born in 1992 in Kolkata. His family moved to US when he was three and moved back in 2002. He has Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and has worked at Google and Facebook.
