Deepak Prakash, son of Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha, took the oath as a minister in Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's government on Thursday. He is expected to be nominated to the Legislative Council within the next six months, as he didn't contest the Assembly elections. His mother, Snehlata Kushwaha, contested the polls and won from Sasaram seat.
