DP Manu, who won gold medal in javelin throw by recording a distance of 81.58m at Taiwan Athletics Open 2024, was born on January 24, 2000 and hails from Karnataka's Hassan. DP Manu's personal best effort is 84.35m, achieved in 2022 where he won the Inter-State championships in Chennai. Manu finished fifth in javelin at 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
