IAS Dr. Tanu Jain was born in 1986 into a business family, but she developed a keen interest in Civil Services after she joined college. She was motivated by her father to pursue a career in medicine and therefore, she earned a BDS degree from Subharti Medical College. She went on to crack UPSC CSE in her third attempt.
