An Ayushman card under Ayushman Bharat scheme allows the holder to get free treatment of upto ₹5 lakh annually. The government bears the cost of treatment. People living in a rural area, anyone with a disabled person in their family, people belonging to scheduled caste or scheduled tribes, and people working in the unorganised sector are eligible for Ayushman card.
