JP Taparia, whose family members purchased India's costliest apartment for ₹369 crore in south Mumbai's Malabar Hill, is the Founder of contraceptive maker Famy Care. Founded by Taparia in 1990, the female health care businesses of Famy Care were sold to Mylan for ₹4,600 crore in 2015. Last year, the family sold its eyecare business to Viatris for ₹2,460 crore.
