KV Subramanian was the youngest Chief Economic Advisor to Indian government, a position he served from 2018-2021. He is a graduate in electrical engineering from IIT-Kanpur, has an MBA degree from IIM-Calcutta and a PhD in Financial Economics from US' University of Chicago. He has also worked at JPMorgan Chase as consultant and was on Bandhan Bank's Board of Directors.
